Morning Talk by Prof. David Wilkinson, Professor in the Department of Theology and Religion, Durham University

9 April, 11AM @ LT24 NUS

"Left Behind, Frozen or Fried? The Future of the Universe"

If the universe really started with the Big Bang, how then will it end? How does a scientist view the popular ideas about the future of the universe? From the accelerating universe to popular apocalyptic, and from futility to resurrection, Professor Wilkinson will help us explore cosmology from the standpoint of faith. Professor Wilkinson has a background in theoretical astrophysics. His current research interests include the science-and-religion dialogue and Christian apologetics. He is a prolific author and speaker, having written books like God, Time and Stephen Hawking (Monarch, 2010)
