The engine and growth of our society have evolved from agricultural to industrial to the knowledge age that we are currently living in. It has changed the way we interact and build relationships with other human beings. The Bible seems to be on par with one of the many knowledge databases which we own.
In a world which places heavy emphasis on “feeling good”, we value our devotion based on our emotions. We seek spiritual discipline as a means to satisfy ourselves. However, is that the true purpose of practicing spiritual disciplines? Through this camp, themed “Changing World · Unchanging Faith”, let us journey together that we may enjoy the fullness our Christ Jesus, standing firm and unwilling to be seduced by each passing fad. We hope to be rooted in the understanding that we are beloved children of God, and by his grace and for his glory, living out our never changing faith in our ever-changing cultures.
